A Red Admiral butterfly landed on my Nikon D610/Tamron 70-200mm lens while on a tripod. I grabbed my D7000/Nikon 105mm out of my camera bag and got this shot just before he took off.
Although I enjoy night photography, my true love is hiking in the woods and being around wildlife. I feel blessed living near a wildlife management area.
